Wide-wall dip buying: single-sided Bid-Ask below the price with SOL
A Bid-Ask playbook for established trending tokens. It never buys the token up front: it places SOL in layers below the current price, so it earns fees while buying the dip near support. Each layer has its own stop loss, and pool selection is strict because loose dip buying is where most LP losses on meme tokens come from.
Who it is for
- You already LP trending SOL pairs with Bid-Ask and want the layering and stops run for you.
- You want to buy dips near support rather than at the current price.
- You accept that this is a higher-risk playbook and size it small.
How it works
Pools
SOL-quoted pools at least 24 hours old, market cap at least $2M, TVL at least $50K, bin step 50–200, 1h volume at least $20K and 24h volume at least $200K, 1h fee/TVL between 0.5% and 3%, and no more than a 15% gain in the last hour. Tokens with transfer tax, freeze authority or honeypot behaviour are skipped.
Range
The top of the range sits at the current price and the bottom below the nearest support from the last 4–24 hours, usually 15%–45% down. The position is split into 2–3 layers, with more SOL in the deeper layers.
Per-layer stops
Each layer has its own stop loss between 6% and 15% (measured in SOL), so one layer can exit without closing the rest.
Exit
The whole position exits at a 15% loss in SOL, after 24 hours (up to 36 if it is still earning and down no more than 5%), when the pool's fee rate halves, when fees are too thin 90 minutes in, or when price stays below the range for two 5-minute candles. Tokens are swapped back to SOL, with a 60-minute cooldown on the pool.
Everything above that is a range ("between", "usually", "decided each time") is judged by the Agent each round from fresh pool data, price history and a quick backtest. How a round works is in How it decides.
Hard limits the platform enforces
These come straight from the numbers in the prompt. The engine enforces them on its own; the AI can exit earlier but cannot override them.
- Stop loss on the whole position at a 15% loss, measured in SOL.
- Up to 4 positions open at once, $30–80 each.
- Total budget $250.
- Maximum hold of 24 hours (36 hours only while it is still earning fees and down no more than 5%).
Every open also passes the platform's safety checks (token safety, a sell test and transaction simulation), and tokens with honeypot behaviour, freeze authority or high transfer tax are always excluded.
The full prompt
This is the exact text an Agent runs (version 1). A prompt is an Agent: copy it, change any number, and check it again before you create one. What each part of a prompt means is in What rules can express.
Trade SOL-quoted pools on Meteora DLMM. Use only SOL, placing single-sided Bid-Ask liquidity below the current price to buy dips; don't buy the token to open a position. Pool selection: pool age at least 24 hours, market cap at least $2M, TVL at least $50K, bin step 50–200; 1h volume at least $20K and 24h volume at least $200K; 1h fee/TVL between 0.5% and 3% (too low doesn't pay, too high is often an abnormal volume spike), and 4h average hourly fee/TVL at least 0.05%; 1h price gain no more than 15%. Only tokens with no transfer tax, no freeze authority and that are not honeypots. Prefer pools with high fee/TVL, sustained volume and widely distributed holders. Range: the upper bound sits right at the current price; put the lower bound below the support underneath — use the last 4–24 hours of price action to find the nearest lows and high-volume zones; the depth is usually 15%–45% below the current price, your call. Place more the deeper it goes. Split into 2–3 layers: the layer nearest the price gets the least, and each layer further down gets more. Each layer has its own stop loss, between 6% and 15% measured in SOL, decided by you based on the layer's position; when one layer triggers, exit only that layer. Exit: stop loss on the whole position at a 15% loss (measured in SOL). Max hold time 24 hours; if it keeps earning fees and the loss is no more than 5%, it may be held up to 36 hours. Exit when the pool's fee rate falls below half of what it was at open. Exit if, 90 minutes after opening, average hourly fees are below 0.02% of principal. Exit when price stays below the lower bound for 2 five-minute candles. After exiting, swap the remaining tokens back to SOL. Funds: $30–80 per position, decided by pool depth and signal strength; up to 4 open at once; total budget $250. After exiting, a 60-minute cooldown on the same pool.
Risks
- Buying dips works only if the dip stops. When a token keeps falling, every layer fills and the fees rarely cover the drop: this is the most common way single-sided LP loses money.
- Trending tokens can lose most of their value in minutes; stops are market exits and can fill well below their line.
- Pool filters reduce, but do not remove, the chance of a token that turns unsafe while held.
None of this is a promise of returns. Read Risks and fees before you use real funds.

Other official templates
- Blue-chip steady: Only major deep pools like SOL-USDC. Two-sided around the current price, with the range set from support, resistance and volatility, for steady fees.
- Trending two-sided: Trending tokens listed for 3+ days. Two-sided to earn fees in both directions; exits when the trend breaks down.
